(you will need to have registered to join. If you are not yet registered please click here).

IPC2021 is now a completely virtual conference. There will, unfortunately, be no in-person events in Hyderabad, India.

The virtual conference will offer around-the-clock sessions over 20 hours per-day to enable participants from around the world to present new research and meet with colleagues. All sessions will be available as on-demand as video recordings. Opportunities to meet, discuss and interact virtually with colleagues will be provided.

An important number of sessions will be devoted to population issues and research in India. The India National Organizing Committee and India Association for the Study of Population have organised a series of 11 regular and sponsored sessions that will take place during the week of the Conference 5-10 December.

Preliminary Program Is Now Available

The Preliminary Program can be viewed online at https://ipc2021.popconf.org/ . You can browse the program by Theme, Date/Time and look up individual participants. Each of these entry points into the program takes you to a session page, which lists the session chair, speakers and titles of the papers or posters to be presented, with links to the online abstracts and extended abstracts (or completed papers) where available. The website shows the times of sessions in your local time so you can note these on your calendar.

The Conference program includes 207 90-minute oral sessions and 23 poster sessions featuring over 1175 scientific communications. Oral sessions will include a mix of pre-recorded formal presentations with live introductions and discussion, followed by a meet-the-author chat (not recorded) to allow for more informal conversation between presenters and the audience.

The 90-minute session will be recorded and the recording made available for replay afterwards for conference attendees to view on demand. If you cannot attend a live session , you can always view the recording of it later.

Poster sessions

IPC2021 live poster sessions will take place in a Gather.Town venue. Gather.Town is a platform that best emulates an in-person poster session and facilitates interaction between conference participants.  Conference participants will access the Gather.Town platform via a link that will be provided in the Main Conference platform in the Poster Gallery.
